(remember the pole barn they got for free this summer, their's for the taking if they'd tear it down?! Now it's time to put it up!)

The side walls are going up really fast. Good thing, cause it's getting cold! We had a few flakes of snow in the air this week.
D.J. and A.P help out too
Those gray skies sure look like snow!
It's going to be a decent sized shed, perfect for storing equipment this winter.
Katie and I had a friend up from Nebraska over the weekend. We had to take her to see Lake Superior, since it's basically in our backyard! It was a really windy day down by the water. We really enjoyed having her here and she pitched right in to help!
We also took her to Duluth to see the ships coming in to harbor. This was a 800 ft Laker coming in. Sometimes it takes out of town company to remind me what a neat place this is. :)
Using the auger on the Ford to dig holes
Getting a load of sand for the building site. It's been way too long since we did a big building project like this! It's so cool!
Because the dirt was so crumbly and dry, a lot ended up falling back in. Ben's measuring a hole to make sure it's deep enough. We ended up digging out the rest by hand.
All ready for the concrete!
